I am SO excited about Thanksgiving this year! For the last 4 years we haven’t been in a house big enough for us to host our family Thanksgiving and I’ve been dying to host one! So this year I am going all out! In celebration of my excitement for hosting Thanksgiving I am going to be posting Thanksgiving ideas every Friday of November.
Today I’m sharing some of the Thanksgiving table setting ideas that I’ve been pinning and dreaming about (said with all the emphasis of Rapunzel in Tangled) for the past few years.
I’m in love with this first all white table setting.
I just spotted some small white pumpkins at Trader Joe’s the other day so now I just need to go back and grab a bunch!
I also love this idea, from At the Picket Fence, of tying the silverware together with a chalkboard label. What a simple, and cute way to welcome your guests to the table!
When I was a kid my mom used to have a tablecloth, and fabric pens, that we would write what we were thankful for. I love this new twist on the same idea, by adding it to everyone’s place mat. I have already started collecting paper grocery bags so I can print these out for my table.
This time of year there are so many beautiful Fall colors all around us so I love that this Thanksgiving table setting incorporated the colors right into the design. Our neighborhood is full of bright color trees so I’m thinking about taking a walk to collect some of the leaves for my table.
And last but not least, you can’t forget about the kiddos! We have so many kids in our family so I will definitley have a separate table for the kids. I think something like this is perfect because it makes for easy clean up at the end of the night! I’ll be sharing more ideas for the kids’ table in a couple of weeks.
